How long will my cedar bench last?
Cedar is naturally long-wearing so you can expect your bench to last for between 20 and 30 years.
Is any maintenance or treatment required?
No, Cedar is naturally robust and resistant to weathering and daily wear and tear, so treatment is not required, especially if you are looking to achieve a silvery-grey appearance.
If you plan to use your bench outdoors, you might wish to use a UV coating to maintain the initial golden warm colour of the Cedar.
Can I stain or paint my bench a different colour?
Yes, Cedar works well with stains and paint, so you can apply your unique touch to your cedar bench and make it your own.
