Douglas Fir Interlocking Board

Highest-Quality Interlocking Douglas Fir Boards

Our collection of Interlocking Douglas Fir boards is ideal for creating a range of high-quality fence panels, gates, cladding and furniture. This wood integrates effortlessly into diverse garden settings with a light sandy colour palette similar to our Siberian Larch products.

Known for its softwood properties, Douglas Fir is exceptionally robust and well-equipped to handle the UK’s fluctuating weather conditions for an extended period. Typically, this timber can last up to 20 years and even beyond when regularly treated.

The interlocking boards are consistent with our ‘slatted’ look even though there are no visible gaps. Instead, the gaps are replaced with a 5mm shadow line, allowing customers to achieve an enhanced level of privacy.

The 94mm boards can also be used as a cladding option, with a selection of our customers using this product to clad outbuildings and summer homes.

The interlocking boards measure 94mm wide and are available in 6ft up to 8ft options.

Please contact us directly if you have any questions regarding treatment, longevity, or ideas for your project.

Sustainable Timbers

Our range of interlocking boards is sourced from forests carrying the PEFC certification, an organisation that protects and regenerates Canadian forests. We are committed to environmentally responsible practices, sourcing all our timber, including Douglas Fir, from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).

Douglas Fir is renowned for its long-lasting qualities, making it a go-to choice for builders, architects, and landscape experts. This timber offers a variety of benefits for outdoor use, including its resistance to rot, water, and insect damage, all while requiring little to no maintenance.
