Why Choose Cedar Fence Panels?
Cedar is one of those timbers that earns its reputation. Canadian Western Red Cedar is naturally full of oils that resist rot, decay and insect damage without any chemical treatment, so once your panels are up, they largely look after themselves. Left untreated the timber weathers gradually to a silver-grey. If you want to keep the warm amber tone, a coat of UV oil once a year is all it takes.
You can expect our cedar panels to last 20–30 years as standard. That longevity, combined with minimal maintenance, is what makes cedar genuinely good value despite the higher upfront cost compared to pressure-treated alternatives.
All our cedar is Canadian Western Red Cedar, sourced from PEFC certified forests and finished by hand at our workshop in Bury, Greater Manchester. Every panel is built to order, so standard sizes and bespoke are available across all eight styles in our cedar range.
Cedar Panel Styles
We make cedar fence panels in eight styles to suit different privacy needs, aesthetics and budgets:
- Slatted — the most popular choice, with 6mm or 12mm gaps for a modern horizontal look
- Wide board — wider slats for a bolder, more substantial feel
- Solid — complete screening with no visible gaps
- Privacy — interlocking slats with a shadow line, no sightline through
- Hit and miss — alternating slats on both sides, ideal for shared boundaries
- Vertical — upright slats with a capped or trellis top finish
- Wall panel — designed for wall-mounting rather than post-fixing
- Sunrise — solid lower section with a slatted top for a mixed look

How Do The Cedar Panels Arrive?
All cedar fence panels will arrive in modular sections that are designed to sit on top of each other. This ensures that delivery and installation of our panels is a quick and hassle-free experience.
Does the cedar fade over time?
Over time, if the cedar fence panels are not stained, fading will occur but not in a negative way. When cedar fades the wood turns into a stunning silver-grey. This weathered look is incredibly popular and actively sought after by designers and architects alike. For those wanting to keep the reddish, brown tones, simply stain to suit.
How Long Will a Cedar Fence Last?
Untreated cedar has a life span of anywhere from 20 to 30 years. If treated this can be up to 40 years plus.
