How long will the gates last?

The Framed Cedar gates will last between 20 and 30 years without treatment, longer if treated regularly.

What fixtures and fittings are needed?

We recommend stainless steel fixtures and fittings only, as others can cause an unsightly chemical reaction causing staining and damage to the timber. Compatible fixtures and fittings are supplied separately by us, if you need any advice, please let us know, and well be happy to help.

Is any maintenance or treatment required?

No Cedar doesnt require ongoing maintenance to keep it performing at its best. You may, however, wish to use a UV coating to preserve the warm tones of fresh Cedar, as this will fade over time to a silvery grey colour.

Are matching fencing panels available?

Yes you can browse our collection of slatted fencing here .

Can I paint or stain my gate??

Cedar can be painted or stained to match other items around your property or an external colour scheme.

Are bespoke options available?

Yes if you require a specific size of the gate, we can use your unique dimensions to create a bespoke design.
