How long will my Cedar Gates last?
The Cedar gates can will between 20 and 30 years without special treatment. With regular treatment, Cedar can last longer.
Is any maintenance or treatment required?
No ongoing maintenance or treatment is required. If you want to prevent colour fading, you can use UV treatment oil. Fixtures and fittings may also need to be oiled occasionally to ensure smooth operation and avoid creaking.
What fixtures and fittings do I need?
To keep your Cedar gates in perfect condition, we recommend using stainless steel fixings to prevent unsightly chemical reactions, bleeds and staining. Please get in touch if you’d like tailored advice on which fixtures and fittings to use with our products.
