Our large Cedar Driveway gates are the perfect way to enhance your home’s kerb appeal, offering style, durability and additional security.
The gates will arrive as a pair and measure 1800mm each (3.6m in total). Bespoke options are available upon request by speaking to a team member directly.
The gates are low-maintenance and do not require any treatment, as cedar is naturally resistance from rot & decay.
Customers who apply a clear UV oil to their gates can expect the warm reddish tones to be enhanced and those beautiful rich colours last for longer. If left as is Cedar will evolve into a stunning silvery grey, which has proven popular with architects and designers.

How long will the gates last?
Cedar is a long-wearing, durable timber perfect for outdoor use so you can expect your slatted gates to last between 20 and 30 years. Treatments and proper maintenance can extend their lifespan even further.
Is any maintenance or treatment required?
Cedar is naturally robust and rich in organic resins, which offer protection against the elements. So no treatment is required to ensure longevity.
Your slatted gates can be treated with a UV coating to prevent colour fading. Fixtures and fittings may be oiled occasionally to ensure smooth and silent operation.
What fixtures and fittings do I need?
We always recommend using stainless steel fixtures and fittings with our timbers to ensure they remain in good condition. Other fixtures can chemically react within the wood, causing staining and bleeding. We’re always on hand to help if you need any tailored advice on which fixtures and fittings to purchase with your products.
