High-Quality Iroko Boards

With golden yellows and darker brown hues, our 94mm x 17mm wide Iroko fencing slats provide customers with beautiful timber, ideal for creating fence panels, gates, and furniture.

Iroko is one of the most durable timbers we stock, with an average lifespan of around 30 years and in some cases can be longer.

The wide boards are available in 1800mm, 2100mm and 3900mm lengths.

Please note: 1800mm and 2100mm are available for UK wide delivery. 3900mm boards are available as collection only.

We also urge customers to use stainless steel fixings to safeguard the timber against potential staining.

Highest Quality Iroko Wood

Originating from Africa, Iroko timber arrives on UK shores as an attractive alternative to popular timbers such as Larch, Cedar and Cambia.

The colouring of the timber has seen a surge in popularity with architects, landscape designers, and influencers alike.

Iroko is a hardwood that is incredibly durable and can be used on various building projects.

The panels, gates, and furniture created can last 30 years plus.

If left to age naturally, these wide Iroko slats will fade to a silvery grey over 12-18 months.

Wide Iroko Slats

Our wide Iroko slats come with a premium finish that competes with our cedar, Fir and Cambia alternatives.

The slats come with planed edges and naturally resist negatives such as insect damage, bacteria, and rotting.

Iroko 94mm Wide Slat FAQ’s

Is Iroko low-maintenance?

Iroko wood is relatively low maintenance.

Like other premium timbers, the colouring of Iroko will transform into a stunning silvery grey if left to age naturally over 12-18 months. This is something that customers choose to allow.

Colouring and lifespan can be enhanced with wood care treatments.

What lengths are available?

We have 1800mm, 2100mm, and 3900mm lengths in stock. Please note: our 3900mm length is available for collection only.

How long does Iroko last?

Iroko has a lifespan of 30 years which can be extended if maintained on a regular basis. The impressive natural resistance to insect damage, bacteria, weathering and rotting will ensure all customers receive a sound investment.

What fixings are best used with Iroko?

We always advise the use of stainless steel fixings with Iroko timber. Stainless steel will not react with the timber and is therefore less likely to cause unsightly damage/staining.

What projects can Iroko be used in?

Iroko wood is a stylish and hard-wearing timber fit for use on most external renovation projects such as fencing, gates, pergolas, bin stores and furniture.

Please contact us directly if you wish to discuss how our Iroko timbers can help your project.
