Timber Bin Stores for 2–5 Wheelie Bins
Conceal wheelie bins and recycling containers with a made-to-order timber bin store, hand-built at our Greater Manchester workshop. The contemporary slatted design provides practical outdoor bin storage while creating a considered feature that can complement your fencing, gates and garden furniture.
Configure storage for two, three, four or five bins and choose from pressure-treated pine, Douglas Fir or premium Canadian Western Red Cedar.
Roof options include opening lids, a fixed slatted roof or our Living Roof Ready system, designed to accept modular sedum trays after installation.

Living Roof Ready
Our Living Roof Ready option provides a fully constructed and waterproofed roof, prepared for the addition of a sedum living roof after installation.
The roof includes a structural plywood deck, heavy-duty root-resistant EPDM membrane, protective felt layer and rear slotted drainage detail, together with the timber perimeter required to contain the finished living roof.
Sedum plants and trays are not included. This allows you to source your sedum locally and install the trays once the bin store is in its final position, avoiding unnecessary handling and potential damage during transport.
Our standard bin store is designed around a 240L wheelie bin. Other bin sizes, including 140L, 180L and 360L, can be accommodated using our Build Your Own Wheelie Bin Store Configurator. We recommend checking your bin dimensions before ordering, as sizes can vary between manufacturers and local authorities.

Corner Door Stop
All our bin stores include a small and discreet corner door stop.
Flat Support Strips
These are used to strengthen and support the internal framework, whilst allowing easy access for your bins.
Lockable Latches
Stainless steel lockable latches are a discreet easy-to-use feature fitted as standard on all our doors. Please note the style of the latch may vary from the picture shown, and may be in silver or black.
Polymer Handles
On our open-lid bin stores, polymer handles are fitted, which are strong and resistant to rust and corrosion.
Chains
Our opening-lid bin stores feature a small chain, which is used to hook around your bin lid handle to allow easy access when disposing of your rubbish.
Lid Stays
Our open-lid bin stores can include lid stays at an additional cost which is used to keep your bin store lid open after lifting, making it easier to operate and use.

Do you deliver nationwide?
Yes. We offer nationwide delivery using pallet delivery or courier services.
Your bin store will arrive in easy-to-assemble flat-pack sections taking an average of 20 – 30 minutes, with no special tools needed & all screws and fixings that will be required are supplied.
What size bin does the bin store fit?
Our bin stores can be built to hold 2, 3, 4 or 5 standard 240l wheelie bins. These tend to be the most common size and are typically around 58cm wide x 73cm deep x 107cm high.
Being designed for this bin size, which is the most common, means that the smaller 180l & 120l will also fit.
However, we offer a bespoke service if you require a wheelie bin store for larger bins such as the 360l and need to increase the size, or if all your bins are the smaller options and you would require the bin store reduced to suit.
Then please email us your enquiry, and we will happily cost this for you.
What timber options are available?
We can build the bin stores in Canadian Western Red Cedar, Ayous, Douglas Fir and Pressure-Treated Pine, and with various options such as opening lids, fixed and planter roofs, with or without a slatted back panel and even a lower dost internal framework as this is not seen.
This way, you can tailor the bin store to suit your needs and budget.
Is any maintenance or treatment required?
If using Western Red Cedar, Ayous, or Douglas Fir then an application of UV oil will offer protection from weathering/fading as well as enhancing the beautiful colours and grain.
Pressure-treated timber may be the best choice if you are thinking of staining or painting your bin store.
And don’t forget: a little WD40 on hinges and lid stays will go a long way toward helping prevent them from sticking or squeaking.
Are bespoke options available?
Yes. Our bespoke service allows customers to create a unique bin store that meets their specifications. We can easily accommodate requests to house more bins, add shelves for recycle boxes, etc.
